Information used for your project
3D Print NJ uses the email address, project notes, printing choices and model file you submit to prepare and discuss your quote. We send transactional request and result emails. We do not add quote requests to a marketing list through the estimator.
Model processing
The STL preview runs in your browser. Your model is uploaded only when you submit the estimate form. Files are stored privately on our hosting account; supported jobs are sent to our private slicing worker on a separate server. The worker receives the model and printing settings, not your email or project notes. Quote requests are accessible to authorized site administrators.
Retention
The active estimator removes uploaded models, prepared files and quote records after seven days through scheduled cleanup. Keep your originals. Operational backups may retain earlier copies until those backups rotate. Customer emails and any separate order, payment or correspondence records have their own retention needs.
Security and browser storage
The estimator uses HTTPS and private job tokens. Your browser tab stores a quote token in session storage so you can refresh and retrieve your result. The service uses an IP-derived hash temporarily to limit repeated uploads. Hosting and payment services may keep their own operational records. Payment details are handled through the payment provider when you pay an approved order.
Questions and requests
Contact info@3dprintnj.com with your quote reference for questions about your information or a deletion request. Upload only models you have permission to reproduce.
